This new body of sculpture has naturally evolved as a result of research on devotional and cultural objects from the Bronze age. The original sculptures had first been conceived and carved in stone before being cast into bronze. 

The intention is to explore a variety of pure simplistic forms while still incorporating a visual language evident in my work. The recurring carved ‘wings, blades, sails, furrows and folds’ create objects that are imbued with spiritual values with their primary focus intended for personal contemplation.
